I suppose if you reject the concept that something transcends then you are compelled to reason otherwise. It goes like this. Primitive emotions, fear, anger, etc.. , common to all animals then why human? Flight, fight, freeze, not enough for human. A mix of emotions processed by a cognitive mind, evaluated by a feeling.
